What we store in your browser

Each calculator can save your inputs — height, weight, age, sex, units, activity level, target weight, etc. — to your browser's localStorage so that the values pre-fill the next time you visit. This data never leaves your device. We have no way to read it, and clearing it is one click: use the Reset my data button in the footer of any page.

What we log on the server

When you load a public page, we record a single anonymous row with:

• The path you visited (e.g. /bmi).
• The referring URL, if your browser provided one.
• A coarse country code derived from your connection (e.g. US, GB).
• Your browser's user-agent string.

We do not log your IP address, set tracking cookies, fingerprint your device, or share this data with third parties. Calculator inputs are never sent to the server.

What we don't do

• No third-party advertising or ad-network tracking.
• No Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or similar trackers.
• No cookies for marketing or cross-site tracking.
• No accounts, sign-ups, or email collection on the public site.

Cookies

The public site does not set tracking cookies. The private admin area at /private uses a single authentication cookie, which is not relevant to public visitors.

Children

refraft is general-purpose health reference material for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes in a substantive way, the updated version will be posted here. Material changes will be summarized at the top of this page for at least 30 days after they take effect.
